Decided to try my luck in OSI: #OtakuSenshiIdols
This is Sailor Yarashiel, taking the stage! She's a pretty non-traditional senshi, based on an angel and with a heavily-modified fuku. I wanted to play around a bit, I don't know how much I like what I ended up with, but I did have a lot of fun with the pose. ^^ Note: she doesn't have wings, I just included light-wings as a background flair to reflect her angelic origins.
Senshi: Sailor Yarashiel Civilian Name: Jaquelyn "Jack" Black Realm: Flexibility Power 1: "Lock In Place!"Lock in Place turns the next person Yarashiel touches completely inflexible. The target loses and ability to move and becomes as hard as steel -- a living statue, even! This power is therefore flexible in how it can be used: while you will most often see it used offensively to render an enemy immobile, it can also be used on ally to protect them from serious amounts of damage.
Power 2: Super-flexibilityAs Yarashiel is the senshi of flexibility, when transformed she becomes super-flexible, able to contort in ways normal humans can't! Her increased flexibility helps protect her from blunt-force damage, like punches and kicks or giant mallets.
Background:
Background:Jack is from Queens, NY. She's a true rebel at heart and hates rules and authority -- those things are so inflexible! Jack comes from a blue collar household. Growing up, Jack constantly messed up the nice dresses her mother tried to put her in and snuck outside to play sports in the street with the boys. The more Jack's mother tried to make her daughter "girly," the more Jack acted and dressed like a boy!
Jack also rebelled against her teachers at school, racking up suspensions and poor grades, hanging out with the "bad" kids behind the school. She managed to graduate, but only barely. (Her teachers probably passed her so they wouldn't have to deal with her for another year!)
After high school, Jack struck out on her own. She found a relatively cheap (and practically condemned) apartment in the city. Being so anti-authority, traditional jobs don't really work for Jack, and she's held a string of menial, minimum wage jobs. She had a job as a delivery driver for a Chinese restaurant that she loved, but she had to give it up when her motorbike broke down. She currently works at an Armenian sub shop. She gets along with her boss because he's as irascible and disagreeable as she is.
One day while heading home from work, Jack found a sugar glider in a dumpster. To her surprise, the sugar glider spoke and informed her his name was Hezron, and she was Sailor Yarashiel. Now, Jack's ready to tackle a whole new adventure: becoming the most kick-ass, rockin' sailor senshi ever!
